What cause registry errors and how to fix it soon?

Friday, December 24th, 2010

As I mentioned in a previous article the importance of having the proper tools if you are doing internet marketing. Having a computer in proper working order is vital to your survival and success. Internet marketing can be relatively inexpensive and can even be done on a very part time basis. So when it comes time to getting things done nothing is more frustrating than working with a slow computer. I mentioned before that having a registry cleaner and using it was like having your oil changed in your car. This reviewer also explained that the registry is found in your processor of your P.C.. What I didn’t mention is what can cause your registry to get corrupted. Most people correctly assume that registry problems are all download from other web sites or from the internet. In part virus protection plays a big part in protecting your registry but only to a certain point. Even on my neighbors’ 2 week old computer I found 122 registry errors after installing and running a registry cleaner scan. She is over 65 and she was not downloading pornography.

If through your internet marketing you are uploading videos and downloading pictures chances are you are going to create some errors. If you are like me and using video production software like Camtasia or Movie Maker, just the act of processing a video can cause registry errors. I also have a habit of running multiple programs at the same time, you guessed it I’m creating registry errors. You can also expect additional errors caused by what are called “Cookies” which is a way for your computer to remember information sent to you by commercial websites you visit on a regular basis. My purpose here is not to teach you how to avoid registry problems but to get you to realize that they are unavoidable and to emphasize the need to protect your computer. You do this by regularly running, repairing and cleaning your registry. Depending on what type of work I am doing on my computer I may run my registry cleaner as many as 4 times a day. Sometimes I find no problems what so ever, sometimes I find as many as 10 to 20 errors. Now part of any could registry cleaner is not only the ability to find the errors but the software’s ability to fix the problem which any good system cleaner will do.

Running your cleaner and the actual process of the repair normally takes less than a couple of minutes. A good idea is to close or minimize any programs you are running. This will prevent any vital links or code to be accidentally deleted. Also any open programs will slow down or cause the cleaner to slow down. When deciding which cleaner to use, be aware that most company’s advertising a “Free Registry Cleaner” will allow you to down load their software for free.

They will detect all errors but only clean or fix a third of them for free. To totally clean your computer you must make a purchase. Though there are a couple of truly free cleaners out there I have not personally tried them. When I first was made aware of registry cleaners I was dealing with a Craigslist ghosting issue. For over 60 days I tried placing classified ads only to find that they could not be seen by any one else. It was by a chance meeting that I was introduced to a product called Mechanic System 6 Registry Cleaner. After running the cleaner it found and fixed over 300 errors on my computer. This fixed my ghosting problem. You can probably imagine my frustration not knowing what was causing the problem. You can also realize the amount of time and money wasted by not realizing this problem was being caused by my computer. Since then I have switched to a product called Uniblue upon a recommendation from that same person. As I mentioned before this is about helping you stay in business and keeping your computer running smoothly not making any particular product recommendations. Most cleaners I have seen can be acquired for under $30 and can go as high as $60 for more comprehensive products. I hope this help things run faster and smoother as you make your way to making your first million.

Do you want to fix registry errors instantly and then enjoy pleasant computer life all the time? The registry cleaner here will be the best choice for you to get this job finished.

4 Simple Ways To Speed Up Computer Performance Without Difficulties

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

Windows is a great operating system although it is bulky. Do not be wary if your computer system runs slowly; you can find many simple and effective methods out there which you can use to speed up your computer in very little time. Read some of the useful simple tips listed below that can effectively increase your computer performance.

1. Scan and Delete Viruses, Adware, and Spyware

Malware of any sort is particularly damaging for the computer system and uses up a big chunk of the important system resources. So make sure that you always update your PC’s anti-virus program and periodically scan the computer system for possible threats. It can be absolutely frustrating to remove malware so if you have access to the Internet and even if you only spend a little time using the Internet, you need to scan and delete malware in your computer system.

2. Free-up the Hard Disk Space of Your PC

Your computer system requires plenty of unused disk space in order to run smoothly. For that reason, if you do not have enough disk space in your computer system, it will slow down your computer’s performance. You can free up your disk space by using clean up tools for hard disks. The steps are, go to Start Menu, then Programs, next Accessories, then System Tools, and click Disk Cleanup. This process will clean up the computer system from all of the temporary Internet files and old, unused programs.

3. Defragment Your Hard Disk Drive

Another good way to speed up computer performance, is to defragment your hard disk drive. As days go by, every time you use your computer, all data and information in your computer becomes scattered in the hard drive. Head to Start Menu, then choose All Programs, click on Accessories, then System Tools, and then Disk Defragmenter. This can enhance and make the most of your hard drive and reorganize all your computer files to get easy and quick access.

4. Using a Registry Cleaner Can Speed Up Computer.

Window registry’s can be corrupted with unnecessary entries. But by using a good registry cleaner you can easily delete unwanted items from the registry thus causing the operating system to speed up the computer performance. A registry cleaner is very simple and easy to use software. You have to install it in your computer and it should be compatible with your operating system. Your computer operating does not do cleaning up. It only continually adds up information and data. This is why you need a registry cleaner software to maintain a smooth performance or to speed up computer performance.

Slow Computer Fix – Here Are Some Tips to Speed Up Computer

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

Few things can be more frustrating than searching for a slow computer fix, except maybe the slow computer itself. Your computer can be humming along one day, and the next everything goes bad as it crawls along and seems to take forever to save a file or perform some other simple task.

If it’s up to you to seek a solution, you may think you’re in over your head before you even start. So before tossing your computer out the nearest window, pause for a moment. The solution to your problem may only be a few mouse clicks away.

To implement a slow computer fix requires troubleshooting to locate the source of the problem. Have you a lot of applications open? Are you running the minimum amount of memory called for the by software applications you use? Have you downloaded files from a website that could have planted a virus in the bowels of your PC? Lots of things can become a drag on the speed of your PC and figuring out what it is should be your first order of business.

Windows Operating System Registry

Knowing where the problem lies can lead to you the best option for a slow computer fix. On Windows based PCs the problem could lie with the operating system registry. This registry plays an important role in the managing some of the simplest yet critical functions on your PC. Like making it possible for the hardware to recognize the software you’ve installed.

Computers and the software that runs on them need to be told exactly what to do. A sort of miscommunication can occur when other bits of useless data interfere with the registry. The result is information that moves more slowly from place to place inside the PC.

Working Twice as Hard to get the Amount Done

Worse yet, these useless bits sometimes lead the CPU to look for information that just isn’t there. This means it has to backtrack and then look again. Needless to say, this step will make your computer take a lot longer to complete its operations.

If you haven’t tried a registry cleaner to make a slow computer fix, this might be the time. A cleaner can scan the registry for data that shouldn’t be there and is getting in the way of the CPU. When it finds the bad data, the cleaner will erase it from the registry, which can help your PC to regain its lost speed.

For many people (you can include me), a slow PC is intolerable and can quickly ruin a perfectly good day if not corrected. If your PC begins to drag its feet, don’t wait for the problem to grow worse. Instead, get quickly to the heart of the problem and apply the needed repairs.

You’ve learned a lot about registry cleaners and that it really is a good idea to be aware if you have corruption forming in your computer’s registry. Now see how all the top registry cleaners rate against one another at Fix Vista Registry Corruption.

Windows 7 Freezes Up – Learn How to Fix Computer Freezing Problem Here!

Monday, September 27th, 2010

It is not something strange if your Windows 7 freezes up randomly and makes your computing really irritating and slow. Such freezing can happen not just in the Windows 7 but also in the other operating systems. However, to fix a computer freezing problem is not that hard. It requires a little well-directed effort to clean up computer through a registry repairing tool.

Before trying to figure out how can we stop Windows 7 from freezing up, it is better to understand the internal structure of the Windows registry and the operating system set up files. You will be amazed to know that many computer errors are not linked to the virus and spyware based infection in the system. Rather the corruption in Windows registry is the real culprit.

The Windows 7 registry is a database which contains the codes for files, programs, hardware and software that is installed in the computer. These registry codes contain information in the form of keys. Corruption in the registry might result in total system failure, Windows 7 freezes and/or other Windows errors which cause computer to crash, programs to freeze and causes system to run really slower.

Why does the Windows registry gets corrupted? The major reason behind this Windows corruption is that the registry is frequently accessed by Windows during its operations and the presence of invalid and unwanted registry keys create a lot trash inside the Windows engine. To keep the Windows 7 registry in good health it is important to periodically clean registry through a sophisticated registry cleaning software.

It is also important to remove the suspicious applications and programs in the computer to avoid Windows 7 freezing. Sometimes there may be dual infection in your computer. In this type of infection not only your Windows 7 registry gets corrupted and needs massive repair but also there is virus based penetration in the Windows set up. In this situation it is recommended to conduct a virus scan as well.

Some additional things that you can do are to add RAM, cool down your computer, keep a short list of start up items and the programs running as the background services.

However, if your Windows 7 freezes up, the best solution is to repair the computer registry.

The recommended program for cleaning registry is Advanced PC Tweaker. Advanced PC Tweaker registry cleaner and PC optimizer software helps to keep Windows clean and makes computer faster.

The Full Facts About Windows Xp Registry That You Should Know!

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

The heart of your computer is the windows registry. Just like a file system where you store your documents, the registry is where Windows system stores assential data with regard to your pc. Every aspect of your system configuration including all software and hardware settings is held in the registry. Just like a file system windows registry uses a tree like structure. For example, the settings for Internet Explorer are stored in HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftInternet Explorer (computer specific settings) as well as HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftInternet Explorer (user specific settings) keys or registry files. Windows uses this essential data to perform all operations on your computer.

When you install new software (even if you install a small component from the Internet) or make any adjustments to the configuration (integrate new hardware or modify appearance of your desktop) the adjustments are held in the registry.

In the case of a brand new PC your registry will have no errors. But as you use your PC it accumulates old and out of date records which can cause crashes and a drop in performance. As well as this, keyloggers, trojan horses spyware and viruses use the registry to abuse the system.

Windows registry is the most sensitive and critical element. Cleaning and repairing your registry requires understanding and expertise. doing it the wrong way can lead to more problems and even stop your PC from working. Doing it the correct way will lead to less system errors and better performance.

Four registry cleaning Myths:-

Myth 1: Cleaning the registry on a regular basis is a must.

If your windows computer is relatively new, less than 6 months old, and you are not a very active user cleaning the registry would not give you much of a result. However, if you are an active PC user who regularly installs new software, you need to clean your registry regularly. As a general guide read through these questions:

1. How often do I change my hardware, memory, joysticks, monitor, printer or scanner, etc?

2. How many times do I install ActiveX or other components when browsing the Internet?

3. Do I follow the exact software uninstall procedure?

4. How many times do I install and uninstall photo, games, graphics audio and photo software?

5. How often do I change my system configuration for example internet explore settings, or other?

It depends on how you answered these questions but you could need to clean your PC registry daily, weekly, monthly, or every 6 months. More frequent alterations require more frequent cleaning.

Myth 2: All registry cleaners are the same. The more problems they find the better the cleaner.

How many problems it finds is only one indicator. The more important indicator is how many problems it fixes the

right way. There are two main methods to registry cleaning, they are:

1) “Smart & safe”; and

2) “Bulk & Deep”.

We could compare it to cleaning a house. Some people, in fact most of us, accumulate a lot of paper on their desks. You can clean your desk by going through every piece of paper, carefully reviewing each document, statements, important notices, and newspapers. You file each important document in the right folders and ditch the junk. However, there are some documents you are not sure about. You take the time to establish weather these documents are impotant or not. This kind of cleaning is smart & safe, which results in a clean desk and organized folders. Also you can rest knowing that you will not have problems in the future because you did not get rid of those important documents. Similarly, a smart & safe registry cleaner does the job the proper way – if it is not sure about the registry record it doesn’t discard it but works to find out if the record is important. This cleaning results in a healthy registry, with less errors and more PC performance.

Or maybe, while cleaning your desk you may keep only important documents and discard the documents you are not sure about along with the junk. You don’t bother spending the time discovering weather the documents your not sure about are important. With this cleaning method you will get rid of more documents but you may end up throwing away important files. This method is called “bulk & deep” cleaning. Similarly, a “bulk & deep” registry cleaner might show more problems and remove good registry records.

In fact, some registry cleaners report a lot of so-called “false errors”. false errors are falsely identified problems that are, in reality, not problems at all. It is even more dangerous if these products try to fix those falsely identified registry problems. Sellers of those products “identify” more problems to make their product look better. They call “bulk” cleaning “deep” cleaning. “Bulk & deep” cleaning does a mediocre job cleaning your registry and can lead to more problems and errors later.

Myth 3: Backing up and restoring the registry will prevent any trouble.

It is critical to have full back up and restore as it allows you to bring the registry back to how it was at a certain point in time. It will not be enough to stop you having problems though. You need both full registry restore and undo registry changes.

Let’s say in a day or a week after cleaning the registry on your PC you experience a problem with one of your applications. You can use the full registry backup to bring the registry back exactly to the point in time when you created the full backup. The problem with that is, you will lose all the changes to the PC configuration you made after that last backup. With “undo registry changes”, on the other hand, you are able to reverse the problematic registry changes without affecting the other registry parts. You can fix the problem without losing all the configuration changes made to your PC.
The general rule is: use “full registry restore” for major disasters and “undo registry alters” to fix specific problems.

Registry is the most sensitive part of your computer. The ability to have both a full restore as well as selective undo is important to prevent you from having problems.

Myth 4: Just cleaning and repairing your registry is enough.

Windows registry also needs compacting which reduces the registry size and defragments it by removing the gaps and empty spaces in the registry tree.

Cleaning garbage from your registry makes it better since it removes unused and incorrect data that causes registry pollution, computer errors and a decrease in performance. There are other reasons however for keeping your registry in tip top condition. Registry structure is such that when you remove unused and incorrect data, gaps are created in the registry tree. Your computer uses the registry to perform every system operation. Having gaps or empty spaces in the registry tree slows down your PCs performance and might create operational errors. So, just like the defragmentation of files compacting the registry removes holes and fragments helping your PC to run with more stability and speed. That is why in addition to cleaning and repairing the registry must also be compacted.

A brief summery:

Windows registry is critical to the health and performance of your computer. Smart & safe registry cleaning, repairing and compacting will prevent problems and keep your PC fast and heathy.

Please note:
Using a registry cleaner is just one of the things you need to do to maintain your Windows PC. You should follow other good practices that include keeping your computer updated with the latest Microsoft updates, regular defragmentation of the hard disk and virus scans.

Clean Up Registry – How to Choose the Best Windows Registry Cleaner?

Friday, August 27th, 2010

It is frustrating to cope with ongoing performance issues and system crashes on our computers. The last thing that we want to face is the need to make a choice of what product to purchase in order to fix corrupt registry files. Many questions often arise during this mental process:

Am I choosing the right registry fix product? Do I need a complete registry cleaner? Is one product truly superior to another? Will I be able to understand the problems determined? How can I trust that I will get results? How do I know that the scan isn’t making up problems?

A good primary goal is to establish the legitimate need for a PC registry repair just in case the problem may be something completely different entirely. Some common issues requiring a Windows registry fixer include:

Speed of PC is extremely slow Anti-virus and anti-spyware removal software can’t fix the problems Consistent freezes and unexpected crashes Start up (boot) process isn’t smooth and shut downs are abnormal Rebooting the computer is becoming a common practice Specific error messages are pinpointing a registry problem Inability to properly add and remove software on computer Blue Screen of Death. You will know it when you see it! Longer computer response times Slower browsing on internet Software takes longer to start/launch

The great part is that if the symptoms match the list above and you are ready to fix the issue immediately, free registry fix software scans are available to determine the scope of the issue. At that point, if problems are detected, a full version of the software, that fixes the files, is available at an inexpensive cost that can have you on your feet again in 10 minutes or less.

What Should I Look for in a Good Registry Repair Product?

Many of the best Windows registry fixer options are relatively close in features. There are some important considerations. The following features are good to look for when choosing the best Windows registry fixer.

Automatic System Back Up

By having an automatic backup that saves previous files each time you scan and repair the registry, you won’t need to remember to save your prior file status in case your new repair makes some changes that you don’t like.

Responsive Support and Service

Nobody enjoys purchasing a product and then having a lack of responses to questions as they arise. It is good to send an email to the company even before purchase to see how sensitive they are to your needs. It isn’t vital to have live chat or phone support as long as online help files are complete and email responses are timely and professional.

Optimization Features Along with Registry Repair

Good software programs will have ways to do a system defrag (to free hard drive space), remove Internet Explorer plug ins that slow web surfing, and remove viruses and spyware from your PC. Just look for additional tools beyond a normal registry repair.

Registry File Edit Options

For advanced users, it is nice to be able to edit which detected errors are repaired. Most novice users do not need to worry about this feature since most complete registry cleaner products are focused on only fixing files that truly need it.

Simplicity of Download and Use

We all want simplicity in life. Computers are no exception. Look for an easy registry cleaner to do the job. The complete registry cleaner products have a description of each feature once you download the user interface during the free scan process. An easy registry cleaner will guide you through every step of their process.

Wish my article here helps you enjoy a faster computer every day without frequently popping-up error messages.

Improve computer speed – Run a registry cleaner immediately!

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

Most people are aware that computer problems occur as PC’s get older. How ever few people know what to do about them, or how they can prevent them. I’m going to address a few of the most frequently asked questions about how you can prevent and repair PC problems related to the registry system.

What types of problems Should I watch for?

Issues such as freezing, or windows restarting on it’s own are very obvious. How ever less obvious troubles can be slow start up, or a lagging after you open a program for it to open, along with the blue error screen popping up quite often.

What causes these types of troubles to occur?

There can be more then one cause to most common PC troubles, how ever most of them start with the system registry. Downloading video players, screen savers, and different trial applications all the time adds information to your windows registry. As you remove those applications all the information that was added to the registry isn’t always removed, leaving behind data that’s not needed and can confuse windows.

As this data accumulates, windows can take longer to start, open programs, and perform normal tasks that need access to the registry system.

What do I do when I see these problems?

If you suspect that the issue is being caused by the registry system then the smartest thing to do is download a free registry repair scan tool. These tools allow you to scan your windows registry for items that are errors, or outdated.

A list of items found during the scan will be provided before anything is repaired or removed. You can then pick and choose which items you want to fix, and what items are better left untouched. For more detailed information of a better registry cleaner, it is recommended that you should go to bestregistrycare site for more detailed information!

Repair Corrupt Registry and Speed Up Computer Now!

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

There are so many different things that can go wrong with our computer but errors in the Windows registry is one of the worst problems that can happen. The reason why this is the case is because the registry is responsible for all the operations on our computer. Anytime a program is installed or deleted, you make any changes or even download things off the Internet, the registry is either written to or taken away from. Whenever it becomes corrupted, it can cause a whole host of problems that you need to deal with. That is the reason why it is important to repair corrupt registry problems when they first occur so they don’t accumulate and put your computer out of business.

Of course, one way that you can take care of your registry is by typing regedit into the command box that is available in Windows XP. This will actually let you view and modify your Windows registry. You better be a little bit careful, however, because one simple mistake can shut your computer down, never to restart again. As a matter of fact, many individuals that are very technically minded do not even bother going into the registry on their own in order to make changes. It is much easier for them to repair corrupt registry problems with the use of a downloadable registry scanner.

One of the great things about most registry scanners is fact that you can download them and scan your Windows registry for free. They will allow you to find out if there are any errors that exist in the registry before you end up paying to have them fixed. More than likely, a scanner will find many different errors that need to be repaired in order to make your computer run at peak efficiency again. You would probably be surprised that it will also find spyware traces and hidden viruses that may be lurking under the radar in your Windows registry.

What can you expect from repairing corrupt registry problems? The first benefit that you will probably notice is that your computer’s speed will increase dramatically. Perhaps you remember whenever your computer was new and it seemed to run fast all of the time. You can gain back a lot of that speed, simply by repairing the registry. Other problems that will no doubt be fixed include random error messages, system crashes and freezes. All of these things will be a welcome change and it all has to do with your Windows registry.

Just because you don’t interact with this part of your computer on a regular basis manually does not mean that it does not need attention. The Windows operating system is not infallible so make sure that you are scanning and cleaning your registry on a regular basis. Not only will your computer run faster as a result, it will be more pleasant to use.

In my opinion, no matter what computer you are using right now, it is recommended that you can install and run a registry cleaner regularly to always maintain computer performance. With a clean and compact registry, you will enjoy a faster computer without errors every day.
